Often overshadowed by conference and national title runs by its other sports programs, TCNJ football has found recent success against increasingly competitive NJAC foes.

Despite last season’s stumble that fell short of postseason aspirations (4-5 in conference), the program is but one, short year removed from winning a share of the conference crown (9-3 overall in 2007). Entering his 33rd season as head coach, TCNJ alum Eric Hamilton looks to lead his players in 2009 toward recreating that success.

Beginning with this week’s training camp, I’ll chronicle news and developments surrounding the Lions throughout the 2009 Regular Season. It also helps that The College of New Jersey’s journalism department has agreed to give me internship credit for the project.

Yeah, I’m pumped.
